Maine Oral Health Improvement Plan Released!
Plan cover
After many months of work by a broad cross section of oral health advocates and experts, the Oral Health Improvement Plan is out. The report looks at oral health from four perspectives:
  • Changing perceptions and increasing awareness
  • Increasing prevention and expanding access
  • Improving service delivery
  • Expanding the dental workforce
Each section identifies goals, strategies and the key partners necessary to move forward in each area. The Maine Dental Access Coalition, which published the report, will play a role in overseeing the Plan's implementation.
The report is available on line at or by calling 207-622-7566 x 218.
